Worship Services

Worship services are held each Sunday at 10.30am.

During our Sunday services:

  • We sing songs of a mostly contemporary style led by a worship band and the words are projected onto a big screen, and if there are any spoken words to participate with, these will go up there too.
  • After 20-30 minutes the children and young people leave the service for their age specific groups. We also have a crèche in a separate room where you can care for your baby and also hear and see the service.
  • Whilst the children enjoy their groups, the service includes prayers, bible readings and a message before the end of the service at around 12 noon.
  • We share tea and coffee following the service and this is a great way for you to get to know people who worship with us.

The midweek (Thursday) worship service starts at 10.30 am and is more traditional in style but is well attended and often attracts Christians from other churches.

Spread out over the year, the church holds approximately six All Age Services when all ages join to worship and learn together. All age worship has been well established over many years and includes all children of school age. Occasionally youth led services are organised.

Communion is normally celebrated once a month on a Sunday morning and similarly at Thursday worship. All who are trusting in the Lord Jesus alone for salvation are welcomed to the communion of the Lord’s Supper that is celebrated at least once a month.

During the year there are many special services including infant dedications, marriages, baptisms, and funerals that are led by the Ministerial staff. We provide a friendly welcome to all who come to church and provide regular opportunities for people to bring friends to services to hear the good news of Jesus.
